NETWORK: Lobby Congress for peace this month!
NETWORK, a Catholic lobby is urging its members and website visitors to make a concerted effort this month to reach their members of Congress to press for peace in Iraq. "Finally, the political climate is beginning to change. Congress is waking up to the need for true peace in Iraq. There is a rare opportunity right now to build the momentum. You can make it happen!"

In collaboration with other religious and peace organizations, NETWORK is calling for a nationwide action of district meetings with Congressional Representatives and Senators during January. "At these face-to-face meetings you can express your concerns, give your Representative/Senator a copy of our policy page and urge them to work for a stable path to peace: Iraqi economic development, true Iraqi sovereignty, and troop withdrawal with no permanent bases left behind."
