Will America just say no to war "surge"?
As President Bush put the finishing touches on a speech advocating more war making in Iraq, America's peace community was hard at work firming up their plans to resist the same.

AmericaSaysNo.org quickly e-mobilized a list of protests to increasing troop levels in Iraq.

Meanwhile another e-petition sponsored by many prominent Christian groups, including Pax Christi, decried Congress member Virgil Goode’s controversial statements about Muslims and invited him to visit a mosque to maybe meet a few U.S. Muslims before his next speaking opportunity:
